Rihanna Creates History, First Woman To Join LVMH For Luxury Fashion Brand Fenty

Rihanna is now the first woman to team with luxury outfit LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for her own fashion brand, Fenty.

The Bajan pop star will be hitting the running soon with her own luxury fashion line and the entire fashion industry is looking forward to it. Rihanna confirmed the deal via social media saying that it was a good day for the culture. While her fans are eager for her to drop some new music, RiRi is busy building her fashion and makeup empire. Yes, she also got some new music on the way and we’re told that it’s coming soon.

“Big day for the culture,” Rihanna wrote. “Thank you Mr.Arnault for believing in this little girl from the left side of an island, and for giving me the opportunity to grow with you at @LVMH . This is proof that nothing is impossible. Glory be to God.”

Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, released a statement praising Rihanna as a change maker in the fashion industry.

“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader,” Arnault said. “She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”

In her official statement, Rihanna said she is ready for the world to see what she has been working on.

“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us,” the pop singer saod. “Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
