Naturi Naughton Defends Omari Hardwick ‘Ghost’ Over Beyonce Awkward Kiss

50 Cent and Omari Hardwick

Naturi Naughton says Omari Hardwick, aka Ghost, double kissing Beyonce was innocent.

Hardwick was asked about the awkward kiss moment during an appearance on Strahan & Sara on Thursday. The internet blew up last month when the Power actor kissed Beyonce on the cheat twice at the NAACP Image Awards in a cringe-worthy moment. The Beyhive came for him over it and just when we were all forgetting about it, the actor was asked about it publicly for the first time. 50 Cent had also trolled Ghost over the situation in a light-hearted moment on IG.

The entire Power main cast appeared on the show today, and that’s when Michael Strahan asked Omari Hardwick about the awkward kiss situation now known as “Kiss Gate.” The Beyhives might not tune in to the final season of Power. Hardwick’s Power co-star Naturi Naughton defended him saying that it was an innocent gesture.

“You know the [Beyhive] try to come for my boy, my TV husband,”Naughton said (via Complex). “He was just being a friend. Why can’t friends kiss and hug anymore? I mean they made that way bigger, so I was there, and it was so not a situation.”

There are a lot of activities happening today surrounding Power. This morning, 50 Cent announced on the Gram that the upcoming season of Power, season 6, will be the final season and it will premiere on Starz on August 25. Fans are not too happy about that because we were led to believe that the show would go all the way up to season 7. Nevertheless, 50 Cent revealed that four spin-off shows are coming.
