R&B Legend Peabo Bryson Canceled Shows After Suffering Heart Attack

Peabo Bryson has canceled a number of his upcoming shows after suffering a heart attack.

The R&B legend is currently hospitalized after suffering a devastating stroke last weekend. According to reports, Peabo Bryson was at his home on Saturday morning when he suddenly started feeling pain in his chest. The singer was rushed to a hospital where doctors determined that he had a mild heart attack and were able to stabilize him.

Peabo remains hospitalized, but doctors expect him to make a full recovery. As a result of his health condition, Bryson has canceled at least five upcoming shows including two shows in Akron, Ohio tonight and tomorrow night.

“Mr. Bryson is still listed in stable condition and is improving, rapidly,” a rep for Bryson told TMZ. “The family extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpouring of love and support expressed throughout this experience.”
