Remy Ma Released From Jail On Bail, Brittney Taylor Plans To Sue

Remy Ma and Brittney fight

Remy Ma was released from police custody after posting her bail.

The Love and Hip Hop: New York star turned herself in to police on Wednesday for allegedly punching Brittney Taylor at a concert last month in NYC. Remy Ma was charged with misdemeanor assault and her bond set at $1,500, which she paid in cash. The Terror Squad rapper and her husband Papoose were spotted leaving court on Wednesday afternoon, but they remained tight-lipped about the case.

Remy Ma might be out of jail, but her legal troubles may just be getting started. Sources say Brittney Taylor is gearing up to file a lawsuit against her former Love and Hip Hop: New York co-star.

Last month, Taylor posted a video showing her injuries while telling her followers on IG that Remy Ma is responsible for her black eye. She told law enforcement that the rapper punched her backstage the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at the Irving Plaza on April 16th. She also claimed that she had to seek medical treatment.

Taylor has since hired attorney Sanford Rubenstein who requested that the police department preserve all the evidence involved in the case including video footage.
