Jhene Aiko Says New Song Not About Big Sean “Me and Sean Are Good”

Big Sean got nothing to do with Jhene Aiko’s new music.

The R&B singer shot down accusations from a fan this week about “snitching” on Big Sean in her new song. Jhene Aiko previewed some new music on her Instagram last night, and it’s clear that she is feeling what she is working on in the studio. “Three new freestyles complete 2019 speaking truth only. You can not control me,” she wrote. One fan left a comment under her post suggesting that she is about to spill all the beans about her split with the Detroit rapper.

Jhene Aiko wasn’t about to let the comment slide and decided to write a lengthy response to the fan. “Me and Sean are good. I got tons of love for him,” the R&B singer wrote. “My next project is all freestyles where I touch on many subjects and relationships… past, present, and future. I know you all love the drama and would like to think everything I do is about him, but I’ve been through plenty of other things and situations that I pull inspiration from when I sit down and create a song. Have a good day.”

Jhene Aiko and Big Sean dated for about two years before they called it quits. The pair even formed a duo group called Twenty88 and released one album. They were working on the follow-up album when they parted ways for unknown reasons. Neither of them has ever commented on their slit even while many different theories floating around in the media.
