NBA YoungBoy’s legal troubles could get worst if a prosecutor gets her way.

The East Baton Rouge Parish prosecutor is asking Louisiana state District Judge Bonnie Jackson to revoke NBA YoungBoy‘s probation because of his latest arrest in Atlanta. The 19-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was booked in Atlanta on February 11th for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, physical obstruction with another, and use of fighting words. The charges were later dismissed and removed from his record, but still, a prosecutor is looking to have him thrown in prison for probation violation.

This is the second time in the last few years that the same prosecutor asked a judge to revoked YoungBoy’s probation revoked. The rapper’s attorney, James Manasseh, says his client is innocent. “An arrest is simply an allegation,” Manasseh said. “Our position is he didn’t do anything wrong.”

NBA YoungBoy is currently on probation for his alleged involvement in a 2016 drive-by shooting that earned him some time behind bars. Part of the condition for his probation is that he can’t get arrested or get himself into any more legal troubles.

Assistant District Attorney April Leon wrote in her motion that Gaulden is not abiding by the conditions imposed by the court. “It has become apparent to the State that the defendant has chosen to not abide by the conditions imposed by this Honorable Court,” she said.

NBA YoungBoy’s next probation hearing is set for May 17 when the judge will decide on his fate. If revoked, he could be sent to prison for up to a decade.
