Squash and Vybz Kartel drops some new music “Can’t Be The Same.”

Vybz Kartel has been working with a number of new acts from out of Montego Bay including an upcoming track with Shabdon, a top producer in the second city. Now we see the incarcerated deejay teaming up with fast-rising deejay Squash, aka 6iixboss. “And them a see we is a fugitive / them never know we woulda big / Ungrateful like them no remember weh we did / Call me a done and a just true the place me live,” Squash spits over an authentic dancehall beat.

The Montego Bay deejay was released from jail in January after spending six months in custody. He was among several men detained by police officers in St. James as part of the State of Public Emergency in the parish following a crime wave. Squash Boss was released without being charged after police labeled him a hardened criminal.

Since his release, the deejay gets right back into the studio to drop some new content.
