21 Savage is speaking out just hours after his release from ICE custody.

The Atlanta rapper sat down with “Good Morning America” for a candid interview where he opened up about his arrest. 21 Savage, whose real name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was released on bail on Tuesday of this week. In his interview set to air on Friday morning, the rapper says he believed that he was targeted by immigration officials and still fears he could be deported under President Trump’s immigration policy.

“I was just driving and I just seen guns and blue lights. And then I was in the back of a car and I was gone,” 21 recalled on the day he was arrested. “They didn’t say nothing. [They] said, ‘We got Savage.'”

“I was definitely targeted,” he continues.

21 Savage was arrested on Super Bowl Sunday by ICE who claimed that he is a British citizen who overstayed his visiting visa in 2005. The rapper has not denied the claims, but his legal team says he was a minor when his visa expired. The rapper has since filed documents to adjust his status, and that case is now pending.

ICE has since dropped a felony charge against 21 Savage but is still looking to have him deported over his expired visa.
