R. Kelly could be put away behind bars if a new video circulating is authentic.

Attorney Michael Avenatti has confirmed that he is in possession of a 45-minute video recording of R. Kelly sexually abusing young girls believed to be underage. You will remember Avenatti is the attorney who represented Stormi Daniels in her case against President Donald Trump. He released a lengthy statement saying that he has the tape and is actively working on a case to put the R&B music legend behind bars for a long time.

“In response to press inquiries, attached is a stmt regarding our work on the R. Kelly matter since April, including the discovery of new critical video evidence establishing his guilt. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that this predator is brought to justice,” Avenatti tweeted.

The attorney claimed that the new tape has never been released before and at least one law enforcement official confirmed the video.

“Included in the evidence we recently uncovered and recovered is a VHS videotape of Mr. Kelly engaging in multiple sexual assaults of a girl underage. This tape, which is clear, is approximately 45 minutes in length and has never previously been publicly disclosed or, until recently, provided to law enforcement,” Avenatti said in his statement.

“This conclusive video evidence is not the same evidence previously seen and used in connection with the prior criminal matter in which Mr. Kelly was charged nor does it depict the same instances of sexual assault,” Avenatti continues. “Further, the time frame of the sexual assaults depicted in the video is within the Illinois statute of limitations.”

The alleged video tape has been turned over to the office of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx. R. Kelly reps has not responded to the new video recordings.

This is just the latest in a series of new developments in R. Kelly’s sex cult saga which Lifetime profiled in its new documentary Surviving R. Kelly.
