Vybz Kartel dedicates his new single “Weh Daddy Deh” to his kids.

The Gaza Boss, aka Addi Teacha, change up his style and image recently and now we’re seeing some more conscious singles coming from out his camp. Despite his incarceration for nearly a decade, Vybz Kartel still manages to maintain a close bond with his children especially his teenage daughter. He is also an active father in the lives of his three sons with his ex-girlfriend Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson.

“Weh Daddy Deh” was produced by Dunwell Productions and showcases the incarcerated deejay reminiscing on missing out on his kids lives. “”Weh me daddy deh? / Mommy weh me daddy deh? / She says ‘Go sidung nuh’ / ‘Likkle boy go sidung nuh,'” Kartel rhymes.

“Ghetto youth have it harder, father / Never did around fi see son nor daughter / Baby girl, baby girl its a wild world / With no daddy, no daddy deh beside her,” Kartel deejay.

Vybz Kartel fans have been waiting patiently for his new album Exiled Pharoah. The dancehall star announced the project in November last year without giving fans a release date. The project will be the follow-up to his 2016 album King Of The Dancehall, for which he earned critical acclaim.
