Drake Reacts To Soulja Boy Claims He Copied His Flow and Style

Soulja Boy and Drake

Drake has reacted to Soulja Boy calling him out for copying his flow.

In a not so shocking interview on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday morning, Soulja Boy claims that he taught Drake everything he knows about rap and that he is the “Godfather of rap.” Young Draco is known to make bold and often outlandish statement, so this will not come as a shocker to most of his fans, and it seems that Drizzy feels the same way based on his initial reaction to the viral clip.

Charlamagne Tha God posted a snippet of the interview on his Instagram account and tagged Drake in it. Let’s just say Drizzy watched the clip and even liked it, so it’s safe to say that he is either agreeing with Soulja Boy claim or just trolling.

“Nevermind my sweat stains. You would sweat to if you found out [Soulja Boy] taught [Drake] everything he knows,” Charlamagne wrote. “Full interview with one of The Founding fathers of hip hop on @breakfastclubam @youtube page now!!”

Soulja, born DeAndre Cortez Way, says that the Toronto rapper copied his lyrics on his song “Miss Me.” Drake has not directly responded to those exact claim, and it’s unlikely that he will. This is certainly not the first time that another rapper is accusing Drizzy of biting their style. The late XXXTentacion also accused the OVO MC of tapping into his flow from his breakout single “Look At Me.”
