Young Thug Slapped With Eight New Felony Charges

Young-Thug

Young Thug legal troubles are far from over.

The Atlanta rapper was slapped with eight new felony charges stemming from his arrest in Georgia last year. Just last month, Young Thug picked up another arrest where he was charged with felony gun possession during a traffic stop while leaving his birthday and album release party in Hollywood. These eight new charges were filed on Thursday, TMZ reported.

Young Thug is now facing additional charges of possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone, and weed, possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine (two counts), and possession of a firearm. The charges resulted from his arrest in September 2017 when cops pulled him over for window tints that were too dark.

Cops found the drugs and the weapon inside his car and took him into custody. Thugger is currently on tour with J. Cole as the opening act on his “KOD Tour.” It’s not yet clear if he will need to turn himself in or when his next court date will be, but the tour wraps on October 10 in Boston which is just over a month from now.
