Nicki Minaj Reveals Racy Cover Art For “Queen” Album

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj is a sexual goddess on the cover of her new album Queen.

Nicki Minaj revealed the cover art for her new album Queen and suddenly she regained the title as the baddest chick in hip hop. The Trinidadian rapper has been plotting her comeback and revealing the artwork for her new album only makes the occasion more surreal. Nicki channeled an Egyptian queen while barring it all leaving very little for the imagination. This is in reminiscence of her infamous stooped photo that she received criticism for copying Lil Kim. But this artwork, which comes a decade later, is much better.

Nicki Minaj revealed that the cover art was done by Mert and Marcus and the album will be her greatest work to date. “By the legendary #MertAndMarcus. My greatest work to date. Thank you for your patience and love. Pre-Order next week,” she wrote on Instagram.

Queen is the follow-up album to Nicki Minaj’s 2014 platinum-selling LP The PinkPrint. Her fans have been waiting close to four years for her to release a new album and come August 10th the wait will be over. Her Barbz will be able to pre-order the album next week Friday on iTunes and TIDAL.

While we haven’t seen the official tracklist yet, Nicki Minaj has already released two singles, “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz,” which will both be on the project. There are also some rumors that Lil Wayne will be on the guest list on the album.

Nicki Minaj’s labelmate Drake will be dropping his new album Scorpion this month and Lil Wayne is now cleared to release his long-awaited album Tha Carter V. Now it’s time for Nicki reign supreme on hip hop once again. If anything, Cardi B serves to re-ignite her fire if you judge from her recent features.

Queen release date is set for August 10, 2018.
