Drake & Tory Lanez Collaboration Coming On “Scorpion” Album

Drake collaboration with Tory Lanez could be coming on his new album “Scorpion.”

The OVO rapper announced that he is dropping his upcoming album in June and the title of it is “Scorpion.” Last month, Tory Lanez revealed that he recorded a song with Drake that ultimately didn’t make it to his last album “Memories Don’t Die.” Sources are now telling Urban Islandz that Drizzy may include a track with Lanez on his upcoming project due in June.

“This collaboration is long overdue and will be good for the culture and good for Toronto,” sources said. “They been in the studio and recorded some stuff recently so don’t be too surprise if you see it on the album. You hear it from me first, there is a good chance it will be on the Scorpion project.”

Last year, Drake and Tory Lanez officially ended their beef after taking shots at each other in 2016. At the time, sources inside OVO told us that the two met and chop things up all in the name of unity for Toronto. “It’s all about unity right now the 6 God is at the top of his Game, Tory is doing his thing big, XO The Weeknd dominating R&B so the city is winning right now and it can only stay that way if we come together instead of out their beefing with each other,” we’re told.

Drake also posted a photo of himself and Tory Lanez together on his Instagram page with the caption, “The city needs more of this and less of that.”

The Young Money rapper has not yet announced the exact release date in June for the album. However, on June 7th he will be hosting and performing at a ultra exclusive dinner party at Chateau Le Jardin in Ontario, Canada. Only about one thousand guests will be at the event so clearly this could be considered as a album launch party.

Lanez also posted a clip from a performance of the two at OVO Fest last year thanking Drake for opening doors for himself and other Toronto artists.
