Nicki Minaj is in full agreement with Birdman that she is the best female rapper ever in hip hop.
Back in February, Birdman did an interview where he made a statement that Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper ever. In said interview, the Cash Money Records head says she has been focused on recording her new album and has been in the studio working hard. On Wednesday, paparazzi swarmed Nicki as she was leaving the LAX and asked her about the statement her label boss made and she responded giving it the thumbs up. Someone could be heard in the background saying, “of course she is, bro!”
Nicki Minaj has been quietly working on her forthcoming album over the past several months. Throughout the entire recording process, she has been absent from social media. The Trinidadian rapper has released three albums including her debut LP Pink Friday released in 2010. All three of her albums are certified multi-platinum by the RIAA.
This new album will be her first major project since her third LP The PinkPrint, released in December 2014. Despite cementing herself as a female lyricist in the game, Nicki Minaj has yet to release that landmark album that will set her apart from the pack. She spoke about it back in November last year, telling her fans that her next album will be a defining moment in her career.
