Kodak Black Gets Green Light To Get GED Out Of Solitary

Kodak Black was given the green light by a judge to get GED after being released from solitary confinement.

On Monday, Kodak Black, real name Dieuson Octave, was released from solitary confinement after his attorney, Bradford Cohen, filed legal docs asking a judge to allow him access to a laptop and his tutor so that he can complete his GED which he started from before his arrest in January. The judge didn’t just approve the request, but also ordered his release from confinement.

This is a good sign for Kodak who is trying to continue his education. Now he will have access to a computer and his tutor will be able to visit him in jail for some lessons. Things are clearly now looking up for the Pompano Beach rapper who is facing mounting legal troubles ranging from a sexual misconduct case to probation violation and weed possession.

Last month, a judge dropped a gun and child endangerment charges against him after another judge denied him bond. Last week, Urban Islandz reported that Kodak Black was placed in solitary confinement for placing an unauthorized three-way call from jail. Then on Monday, he sent out a tweet telling his fans that he was let out of confinement. “Fresh out the bing… that boy @chrisbrown just dropped 10 racks on my books, that’s love,” he tweeted.
