Vershon links with Aidonia’s protege Govana for a new collaboration “Weh Dem Know Bout.”
The two deejay traded bars over an authentic dancehall beat produced by Real Queffa Records, YGF Records, and Ridwaan Razak. “Dem no know man sufferation / Say them a me bredda true yo see the name brand / Real G stay true to them day one / We a par from lunch kit days grade one,” Govana deejays.
Vershon come through with a catchy hook singing, “Weh dem know bout zink fence board house white rice sardine / Weh them know bout salt fish and bake bean flour wid the cornmeal / Weh dem know bout one shoes one pants no shoes pon feet.”
Vershon and Govana are currently having an impressive run in dancehall. The 4th Genna deejay surprised the industry last year with a slew of new bangers including a track with Aidonia titled “Breeze.”
