Tifa Take Shots At Spice and Shenseea For Rapping In Fire Freestyle

Tifa drops a fire freestyle going after Spice and Shenseea for going hip hop.

Spice debut her first dancehall trap crossover single last “Duffle Bag” last month and she has been getting a lot of praise for coming with something different. The video was well put together, well choreograph and well directed. Before Spice dropped her first rap single, Shenseea dropped some hints that she could be taking the hip hop route when she took part in a cypher with Dexta Daps on Tim Westwood show last year. The “Loodi” deejay also posted a couple rap freestyle videos on her social media page over the last few months.

Seems Tifa has issues with her female comrades going the rap route and offload some stuff off her chest in the below freestyle. “Everybody wonna rap but a Jamaica mi come from / Mi hear say all Rihanna a put out dancehall album / Mi ago gi it to unnu in a dancehall now / A the Jamaican finesse everybody say ooouuu / So fly so fresh it coming like unnu forget / Mi a the baddest lickle thing them a follow me footstep / Mi murder riddims like the man dem a Mobay / Check the facts check the stats mi no bad from weh day,” Tifa spits.

The last line about murder riddim like the man them a Mobay (Montego Bay) is catching some heat from some dancehall fans given the recent spike in crime rate particularly in Jamaica’s second city, Montego Bay. “Take out the line wey sey murder like the man dem a Mobay don’t add that to nothing don’t recognize them,” one of her fans commented.

Still, some fans gave her the thumbs up for the freestyle and for taking a jab at female artists like spice and Shenseea for rapping. “Jah know @itsthetifa mek them know don’t why them a try rap and it no fit them, some a them a spice but you a the whole 5 course meal,” one fan wrote.
