Bounty Killer Lauds Shaggy For Raising $100 Millions For Children’s Hospital

Bounty Killer is lauding Shaggy for raising a whopping $100 million for the Bustamante Hospital for Children.

The “Boombastic” deejay handed over the check last week to the hospital following a successful staging of his annual Shaggy and Friends concert. Last year, Shaggy and his Make a Difference Foundation, headed by his wife Rebecca Burrell, set out to raise $100 million for the Bustamante Hospital for Children Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The dancehall veteran called up some of his famous friends including his collaborator Sting and Wyclef Jean to come and performed at the charity event for free.

They all turned up with a host of big Jamaican names like Barrington Levy, Capleton, Aidonia, Freddie McGregor and more. The concert, hosted on the lawns of Jamaica house, saw one of it’s biggest turnouts since its inception in 2009. Although he didn’t perform, Bounty Killer took to social media to laud Shaggy for what he has been doing for the largest children’s hospital in the Caribbean.

“Now let’s trend some positivity out of Jamaica for once this is something to talk about because this is only the way we gonna see a better Jamaica when we all get together and support each other just like this man here did the government would never do this so all who is waiting on the government sorry for you all but it’s we two holding them firm two cousins parties so PNP or JLP gwaan fool unuh self we all in this together,” Bounty Killer wrote on Instagram.

“Championing the real cause stalwart humanitarian all hats off again although it’s several years now you been doing it Mr Orville Burrell aka [Shaggy],” Bounty Killer continues. “May the lord keeps and blesses you and your family on this journey calls life you’re truly a Living Angel among us this is way more than legend I see you as a role model you motivates me a lot I don’t know about anybody else but I loves to emulate good moves ways and deeds and Shaggy is all that in one package kudos Big Bredda I salute you Sir Burrell much love to all the artistes and sponsors who offered there services the patrons also as Shaggy alone couldn’t do it folks.”
