50 Cent Told Power Fans To Cancel Starz After Season 4 Finale

50 Cent has never been shy about his issues with Starz and on Sunday night he took another shot at the network following the Power season four finale.

The fourth season of the hit show Power has just been wrapped and though this season was perhaps the most successful, 50 Cent has been uneasy about working with Starz. Throughout the season, he regularly takes jabs at the premium network via his social media page and on Sunday night’s finale, he pretty much told Power fans to cancel their Starz subscription.

“I don’t think the STARZ network realize your watching POWER because it’s my show,” he said. “So take STARZ out of your cable package after you see POWER tonight. Then they will understand I bet.” The rap mogul is also planning to launch a new show on BET later this month and is even predicting already that he will be the biggest thing on the network.

50 Cent said in another post on his Instagram account that Power is the biggest invisible show on TV and that’s all because of Starz. “POWER is the biggest invisible show ever,” he added. “Everybody on the show is bringing their A game. If I don’t shake things up nothing’s gonna change. It’s a damn shame I have to prove I can move the audience.”

It will be interesting to see if any of Starz 25 million subscribers will ditch the network after this season of Power stops airing. 50 Cent just recently recovered from a mountain of lawsuits and even bankruptcy so the next question is, is he risking a lawsuit from Starz for going after them like this. At this point, it seems like he is awfully angry with the network and isn’t holding anything back. Perhaps he should consider moving Power to a new network, maybe HBO.
