Popcaan Pulls Out Red Bull Culture Clash Due To Visa Issues

Popcaan will not be performing at this weekend’s Red Bull Culture Clash in Atlanta due to visa issues.

The dancehall deejay was on the lineup with his Unruly crew going up against other acts like WondaGurl, Tinie Tempah, and Mike WiLL Made-It. The “Unruly Boss” deejay issued a statement late Friday announcing that he will not be in Atlanta as previously announced due to problem with his travel documents. We’re told that he did not get his US visa and work permit in time for the show.

“It is with deep regret that we have to announce that Popcaan is unable to participate with Unruly at this year’s Red Bull Culture Clash in Atlanta,” the statement reads. “Due to circumstances out of our control and despite everyone’s best efforts, travel documents were unable to be processed in time for the clash. We prepared rigorously as a team for this event and were prepared for a serious clash with Popcaan as the team leader. We are fully aware without the presence of Unruly’s boss Popcaan things will be vastly different; but we are UNRULY and are 100% dedicated to representing for our culture, our country, Popcaan and Red Bull.”

Popcaan also thank his fans for their support and let them know that he will put on a special performance for them when he gets his travel document situation resolve.
