Rapper Keak Da Sneak Shot Hospitalized In Critical Condition

Rapper Keak Da Sneak is currently hospitalized in critical condition after being shot several times.

The shooting of the 39-year-old Oakland rapper went down on Monday (August 21) but details are still sketchy. Sneak, whose real name is Charles Williams, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at an abandon gas station in Oakland. Cops say they responded to a 911 call about shots fired in the vicinity around 5:30 a.m. on Monday. The rapper was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is still in critical condition.

Cops say that they are investigating the shooting but so far no arrest has been made. “They’re working around the clock on this case,” Richmond Police Lt. Felix Tan said (via East Bay Times). “We’re hoping to talk to the victim as soon as he gets recovered enough to speak with us.”

Keak Da Sneak performed at a concert at a local venue on the night before the shooting, the general manager of the venue confirmed. Following his well-received performance, the rapper left with his wife and other family members. A fellow rapper from the Bay Area name Mistah F.A.B. also posted a video on Instagram weighing in on the shooting incident. He has since deleted the video but not before some media outlets got a hold of it.

Keak Da Sneak was shot back in January and survived. He famously posted a video of himself performing at an event two days later while using a crutch to walk.
