JAY-Z Releases “MaNyfaCedGod” Footnotes With Meek Mill, Charlamagne Tha God & More

JAY-Z releases the footnotes for “MaNyfaCedGod” and he manages to get Charlamagne Tha God, Chris Rock and Meek Mill to all say something on the perception of men in relationships.

JAY-Z’s latest body of work, his album 4:44, was a ground breaking project and the entire hip hop community continues to show its appreciation to Hov. 4:44 is perhaps JAY-Z’s most personal and introspective body of work to date and he has all of 14 albums under his belt. Some folks are even questioning if he can get any better at those rap thing.

Hov released the official music video for the single “MaNyfaCedGod” just last week and like so many of the tracks on the album, he has now released the footnotes exclusively on TIDAL. Public figures in the hip hop community like Meek Mill, Chris Rock, Charlamagne Tha God, Trevor Noah, and Jesse Williams shared their thoughts on the vulnerabilities of black males in relationships and what does it really mean to “be a man.” They all discussed this popular perception of being a man in the relationship and how it plays out in their everyday lives and their egos.

Some of the folks who appeared in the video like Charlamagne tha God, Anthony Anderson, and Mack Wilds, all gave themselves a moral grade when it comes to relationship and dealing with women. A large part of JAY-Z’s album deal with social issues like male ego, infidelity and the everyday struggles of black men.
