Watch Kendrick Lamar Bringing Out J. Cole For DAMN Tour In Detroit

J. Cole made a surprise appearance on Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN Tour stop in Detroit on Wednesday night.

The Compton rapper was performing at Detroit’s Palace of Auburn Hills for another sold out show on his DAMN trek across the U.S. and Canada. Coincidentally, J. Cole performed at the same venue the night before for his “4 Your Eyez Only Tour” and was still in the city so he made a surprise stop to greet Kendrick Lamar’s fans.

In the video clip below you can see J. Cole coming up from below the stage and went straight into his single “Deja Vu” off his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only. With K-Dot on stage with him, the Dreamville emcee ran through a medley of his hits like “No Role Modelz” and “A Tale of 2 Citiez.” This rare joint appearance on the same stage only fuels more speculations about a joint album between the two.

Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are two of the most respected young rappers in the game right now with solid efforts coming from them over the years. A joint project has been rumored to be in the works for years now, since around 2012. This is the clearest sign yet that that project could come next.
