Vybz Kartel To Start Getting Conjugal Visits In Prison

Vybz Kartel could be among thousands of prison inmates to be granted conjugal visits in Jamaica.

National Security Minister, Robert Montague, recently revealed plans by his ministry to start allowing inmates conjugal visits from their spouses as part of it’s plans to humanized them. Inmates already have days when they get visits from their family to interact with them, but this goes a step further in allowing them to engage in sexual activities. This, the Minister say, will help facilitate prisoners re-integration into society and build stronger family bonds.

Human Rights group Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ) lauded the Minister for making the move saying it will benefit both the society and the government. Vybz Kartel and his common-law wife Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson are still going strong despite six years of incarceration. The couple has three kids together and she now controls his music catalog. Kartel is currently awaiting his appeal trial set for February 2018 when he will know his final fate regarding his controversial murder conviction.

Spice knew all along that this was in the making.
