Vybz Kartel & Masicka Being Investigated For Violent Video

Vybz Kartel and Masicka found themselves under the police microscope for their violent video “Infrared.”

To be clear, Vybz Kartel did not appear in the music video since he is currently incarcerated, but he is featured on the single which has been a big hit in dancehall over the past couple weeks. The song itself has racked up over 5 million views on YouTube. The video starts out with Masicka and a group of females partying on a yacht but then things quickly transformed into a crime spree that resembles something straight out of Shottas.

The 4-mimnute cut features Masicka and his crew robbing an armored truck while brandishing some high powered guns and even lining up bullets on a table while plotting the heist. The Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Firearms Licensing Authority (FLA) have both took interest in the video and have launched their own respective investigations. Sources say the FLA is interested in knowing if the guns are licensed and have even already located the armored vehicle for inspection.

This is the second music video to come under scrutiny from the police force. Over the weekend the Commissioner of Police George Quallo ordered an investigation into Alkaline gritty music video “After All” which also showcases plenty guns and even police officers.
