Popcaan Says He Still Respect Vybz Kartel Despite Hate Coming From The Gaza

Popcaan still has a lot of respect for Vybz Kartel despite some recent hate coming from the Gaza camp.

If you have been following this story closely then you would have known that Shawn Storm released a diss track for Popcaan “No Frauds” where he branded the Unruly Boss as a police informant. Since then Poppy has been getting a lot of hate from Gaza fans and even some death threats from some folks claiming to rep the Gaza.

A rep for Popcaan told DHH on Monday that the deejay still has the utmost respect for Vybz Kartel despite the fallout. “Popcaan will forever respect Vybz Kartel because Kartel was the one who first introduced Popcaan to the world,” an Unruly rep told us. “We are not ungrateful we always big up Vybz Kartel anywhere in the world we are and the fans know that. It’s just a few haters trying to make this more than it is because at the end of the day Vybz Kartel himself never come out and say Popcaan said or did anything he is accused of.”

Both Popcaan and Vybz Kartel has one of the biggest collaborations in dancehall “Clarks” which was released in 2009 and became a massive fashion anthem that fueled the sale of Clarks shoes. These days the former Portmore Empire members have not spoken to each other in years due to Kartel’s incarceration.
