French Montana and Swae Lee‘s hit single “Unforgettable” now certified platinum.
It was just last month that the single “Unforgettable” went gold and the momentum carries it to platinum status in just under a month. In fact the single so popular right now that it could reach double platinum by mid summer. French Montana and Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd teamed up for the single in April and hip hop fans immediately took notice.
Both French and Swae Lee confirmed the platinum status on Instagram yesterday. “Much love around the world twice #unforgettable,” Lee wrote while the Bad Boy rapper added, “#unforgettable #platinum #blessed.” The official music video for “Unforgettable” was uploaded to YouTube on April 13 and has since received 100 million views. The clip was shot in Uganda earlier this year when the two rappers traveled to the African nation on a charitable mission.
