Young Thug has escape a felony drug charge and possible jail time due to a technicality.
Back in 2015 cops raided the Atlanta rapper’s home in Sandy Springs, GA and found drugs and gun. He was arrested and slapped with charges of felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession and three counts of felony gun possession,” TMZ reported. But turns out that the search warrant was illegal to begin with and a judge threw out the case.
The district attorney has since dropped all charges against Young Thug after his lawyer argued that cops conducted the search in July 2015 without proper documentation for the search warrant. Turns out that the judge agree and dismissed the case allowing Young Thug to move the cloud from over his head.
Young Thug has more legal troubles to deal with but they are not as serious as this case. The rapper also has some new music out now including a new single “Heatstroke” with Calvin Harris, Ariana Grande, and Pharrell.
