Tupac Memorabilia Still On Auction Despite Lawsuits

Tupac Shakur‘s memorabilia are still on sale despite threats of a lawsuit from the estate of his late mother Afeni Shakur.

Close to a dozen items are currently up for grab at a Brooklyn auction house who is defiant despite getting threats of a lawsuit from the management of Afeni’s estate. Tupac’s mother died last year from a cardiac arrest and since then the rapper’s memorabilia have been popping up for auction including song lyrics and personal items like his famous Dolce & Gabbana wool jacket.

TMZ reported that “Black Heritage Auction is selling 2Pac’s handwritten lyrics and jewelry the very day he gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.” Among the items up for grab currently includes “All Eyez On Me” tracklist for $30,000, “All Eyez On Me Book II” CD master for $20,000, Nose stud from the cover of “All Eyez On Me” for $7,500, New York Prisoner Identification Card for $10,000, Personal signed Koran for $30,000, Gold and diamond medallion for $38,000, and Lyrics for “Wonda Why They Call U B*tch” for $15,000.

A rep for the company says they acquired the items lawfully and didn’t felt it was necessary to contact Afeni Shakur’s estate.
