Chance The Rapper Reaches Settlement In Child Support Case

Chance The Rapper has reached a settlement agreement with his baby mama Kirsten Corley in his ongoing child support case.

The Chicago emcee has been widely regarded as one of the good guys in hip hop, but this cloud was hanging over his head for some time and now it’s gone. Lawyers representing both sides appeared in court on Monday where they signed off on an agreement that sees both parents getting substantial physical custody of their daughter. Nevertheless, they both indicated that they have decided to live separately for the good of their daughter, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

“Really, that’s the way it should be done,” Kirsten Corley’s attorney, Enrico Mirabelli said. “And when you settle between yourselves, you leave nothing to chance.” Chance The Rapper attorney, Tanya Stanish, also echoed the same sentiments that the couple have been cooperating with each other. “The parties have reached a full agreement,” Stanish said. “The case is concluded. I’m going to give major credit to Chance and Kirsten for working together to reach a deal that’s fair for their daughter, fair for them both.”

Chance The Rapper recently donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools and received much praise for this. Now He can also put this child support fiasco behind him. This is a video posted by Chance on Instagram of him and Corley spending time with their daughter.
