Kodak Black channels his inner LL Cool J on his new single “I Need Love.” The Florida rapper has been having the time of his life since his release from jail in December.
Since tasting freedom, he has released a handful of new singles, but it’s his social media antics that is getting him the most attention. Some fans are even suggesting that his manager should take his cellphone away from him. Kodak first previewed this new single over the weekend, but last night he released the full version.
The single “I Need Love” samples rap legend LL Cool J’s single of the same new and also bring a similar vibe, though not anything close to LL’s classic. In the description of the video posted on Kodak Black’s YouTube channel, he wrote that “Painting Pictures” is coming soon along with the hash tag #March31st. This could be interpreted as he is dropping a new album on March 31st.
