DJ Khaled Sued By Producer Over “I Got The Keys” Feat Jay Z & Future

DJ Khaled is getting sued by a producer who is claiming the rapper jacked his beat and used it for his Major Key hit “I Got The Keys.”

The We The Best Music Group rapper released the song last year with guest features from Jay Z and Future. The music video has been viewed 79 million times on YouTube since its release last July. TMZ reported that producer Chris Hill filed legal docs claiming that DJ Khaled jacked his beat and he wants him to pay.

Hill claim that portions of his beat from his “Chris Hill Beats (Gangsta Boogie Vol 2)” mixtape was used on “I Got The Keys.” He said that he met Khaled at a club in Atlanta in 2008 and handed him his CD. Fast forward almost a decade later and he heard his beat on the song.

The lawsuit named DJ Khaled and Sony Music, as well as, the producers behind the song. It’s unclear how much money he is seeker or whether he got a case. Jay Z and Future were not named in the lawsuit.
