Ishawna Says “Take Pride” Is For The Ladies Who Keep It Clean

Ishawna is representing for her female fans who are keeping it clean in her new single “Take Pride.”

The track was produced by Donsome Records and has been getting a lot of attention since its release last week. According to Ishawna, the single was recorded as a female hygiene anthem that encourages ladies to take great pride in keeping their body and their appearance clean.

“This is a song for the ladies, and it’s basically encouraging them to keep fresh at all times, not only in appearance, but also the way in which they take care of their clothes, make-up and skin care,” the dancehall diva told the Star.

Ishawna was very explicit on the track about how ladies should pay attention to certain parts of their bodies. Since parting ways with Downsound Records last year, Ishawna has released a slew of hits. This year she is looking to continue her success as female dancehall start gaining momentum in Jamaica and overseas.
