Popcaan & Naughty Boy’s ‘Should’ve Been Me’ A Huge Hit In Europe

Popcaan scored his fourth UK charting single with his new collaboration with Naughty Boy and Kya “Should’ve Been Me.”

Popcaan continues to push his career outside of Jamaican and his technique seems to be working. The Unruly Boss deejay scored a hit single in Europe thanks to his feature on Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me” which also features British songstress Kyla.

The song made its debut in November but the music video was released last month and has since rocked up over 2 million views on YouTube. The single currently sits at No. 73 on the UK chart and climbing, 27 on the Hungary chart, 78 in Ireland, 35 in Belgium, and 47 in Scotland. Popcaan has never charted on the UK chart before and this track will sure give his career a boost in that market.

Popcaan’s previous hits on the UK chart includes “I Know There’s Gonna be Good Times” with Jamie XX and Young Thug and “I’m in Control” with Aluna George. The deejay copped his second straight MOBO Award last year.
