Lil Wayne Reps Jay Z While Hinting At Roc Nation Deal

Birdman won’t be too happy about this. Lil Wayne paid homage to his idol Jay Z during his performance on Saturday night at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in Los Angeles.

Weezy surprised his fans when he changed up some of the lyrics in his smash hit “I’m Me.” “I’m a motherfu**in’ R-O-C millionaire / I’m a motherfu**in’ Roc-A-Fella millionaire,” Wayne raps.

The original lyrics is “I’m a motherfu**in’ Cash Money millionaire.” It’s been very clear for long over a year now that Lil Wayne is not riding with Cash Money anymore. But is he signalling that there is a Roc Nation deal in the making. It could just be that he is repping Hov due to his deal with TIDAL music streaming. But still, Wayne joining artists like Rihanna, J. Cole, and Beyonce at Roc Nation would be epic.

Lil Wayne and Jay Z haven’t always had a great relationship because at one point they were foes, but that was when Weezy and Birdman were tighter than Barrack and Michelle Obama.

Last year Hov and Wayne put those differences aside and partnered on TIDAL with a bunch of other artists. Let’s not forget that Weezy. F is still suing Cash Money and Birdman for $51 million.
