Lil Wayne Reacts To Backlash Over Black Lives Matter Controversy “I’m Sorry”

Lil Wayne is reacting to the backlash he has been getting on social media over his Black Lives Matter controversy.

Last night Weezy sent off a Twitter firestorm when he got angry at a journalist on “Nightline” for asking him about his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement. “What is it? What do you mean? That just sounds weird,” Wayne said.

Seems now he is doing some damage control and perhaps even attempting to walk back his statement. “Is intelligence always misunderstood?” Weezy wrote on Twitter.

Lil Wayne also told TMZ that the reporter’s questions about his daughter was what set him off first and everything went downhill from there on.

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b**ch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my response,” he said.

The Young Money rapper also raised some eyebrows last month when he stated in an interview that he doesn’t believe in racism and it doesn’t exist.

Lil Wayne “apologies to anyone who was offended.”
