Ninjaman Back In Court For Murder Case On November 28

Ninjaman will be back in court on November 28 for his ongoing murder case.

The dancehall legend, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, has been in and out of the Home Circuit Court in Kingston since 2009 for a murder charge involving his son.

A frustrated Ninjaman says that he is anxious to get the case over and done with because it is affecting his career. “There is hardly any work in Jamaica for an artiste because a mostly parties keep and di few promoters who keep stage show nuh like pay Jamaican artiste good money,” the deejay said. “Because of dis case I have travel restrictions and have to be turning down lots of events. The legal fees are very costly and is eight years now mi a go through dem tings here.”

The case was recently transferred to a special court for cases that are over five years old. But Ninjaman says that he will more than get a new court date when he return to court in November.

Ninjaman is currently working on his new album, due early next year.
