#RIP Rapper Shawty Lo Died In Fiery Car Crash In Atlanta

Shawty Lo has died.

The rapper, real name Carlos Walker, died early this morning (Wednesday September 21, 2016) in a fiery car crash in Atlanta. Walker was age 40 at the time of his death.

The deadly car crash took place at approximately 2:20 AM on highway I-285 just south of Atlanta, Georgia, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Shawty Lo was driving a white Audi sedan when he lost control and jump a guard rail and slammed into some trees. The car burst into flames and the rapper died on the scene. His two female passengers escape with non-life-threatening injuries. Lo was reportedly partying at the Blue Flame strip club on Harwell Road just moments before the accident.

Several celebrities in Atlanta have since react to his death including Ludacris, Future, and his longtime manager Johnnie Cabbell.

“I am so so so devastated that words can not describe how I feel right now,” Cabbell wrote on Instagram. “Shawty Lo was not just my artist he was my Brother He was My Friend. I have been Lo MGR for over 10yrs He was Loyal and he had my back when no one else did. I could count on him when I had no one else to turn to. We been thru so much together. If you knew Lo then you know he was genuine He was Real he would do anything he could if he had it. I Genuinely love this man like my blood brother. I Will Keep His Name Alive and and His Music !!!! Please Pray for Us The Whole D4L Family Lo Family His Mom His Kids His Children Mothers We need you all prayers and Support.”

Shawty Lo’s car was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

“legends never die… Shawty Lo Forever,” Future wrote.

“R.I.P. To a real one. #gonetoosoon #shawtylo #love,” Ludacris wrote on Instagram.
