Rapper Memphis Bleek Files Bankruptcy

Memphis Bleek is the latest rapper to join the bankruptcy club. The Brooklyn emcee says in his court docs that he only has $100 in cash to his name.

Bossip reported that Bleek filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy in March of this year. He listed his assets at $274,000 but his liabilities are listed at $385,000 with the. His home in New Jersey is his biggest liability with $335,000 owed on the property. He also owed the IRS as well as the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Among his assets includes wedding rings, clothing, and his Chevy Impala. He also stated in his bankruptcy docs that he has $0 in his Chase bank account and brings in around $5,900 per month with total expenses at $5,300. His company “Get Low Touring” net worth is also listed at $0.

Memphis Bleek was signed to Jay Z‘s Roc-A-Fella Records and was mentored by the now Roc Nations head. Bleek also appeared on several of Hov’s albums including Life and Times of S. Carter, The Dynasty: Roc La Familia, and Reasonable Doubt, Vol. 2.
