The Game & Snoop Dogg Protest Calls For Peace Amidst Police Murders

The Game and Snoop Dogg are taking a stance against the carnage that has been happening across the U.S. particularly the five police murders in Dallas and the police killing of Alton Sterling.

On Friday morning the two West Coast rap legends joined forces to lead a peaceful protest outside the headquarters of the LAPD.

“This is how you make moves,” Snoop Dogg said in a video posted on his Instagram page. “You make it happen. You get some dialogue and understanding with the new recruits before they hit the streets so that way they know that we just like them.”

The Game also posted a video on IG letting his fans know about his mission. “We come in peace,” he said. “To make the Californian government & it’s law branches aware that from today forward, we will be UNIFIED as minorities & we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us.”

A TMZ paparazzi also caught up with Snoop Dogg and asked him about the shooting of several police officers in Dallas on Thursday night. “That’s not the answer but at the same time there are a lot of built up frustration,” he said. “You can’t answer hate with hate. You gotta answer hate with love.”

Celebrities have also been reacting on social media about the death of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile both at the hands of police officers. The killing of five officers in Dallas.

“These robberies of lives make us feel helpless and hopeless,” Beyonce wrote on her website yesterday. “But we have to believe that we are fighting for the rights of the next generation, for the next young men and women who believe in good.”
