MC Hammer’s classic album Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em is the undisputed champion with 21 weeks at the top of the chart in 1990.

Views sold 111,000 equivalent album units over the last week, with 25,000 copies being pure album sales. The rest accounts for the massive streaming of the album since its released.

Drake is also the first male artist to lead the chart for 9 consecutive weeks in over a decade. Usher’s album Confessions in 2004 was the last time a male artist achieved 9 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the chart.
