Flippa Mafia Sentenced To 25 Years For Drug Conviction

Flippa Mafia was sentenced to 25 years in a state prison for his conviction on drug trafficking charges.

The dancehall star, real name Andrew Davis appeared in a Camden Superior Court in New Jersey on Friday (June 3) morning where he learned his fate after authorities labeled him a drug ring leader.

The “Unfinished House” deejay was also ordered to pay up US$250,000 anti-money laundering profiteering penalty. He was convicted back in December of 2015 on for first-degree distribution of cocaine, second-degree money laundering, and second-degree conspiracy.

Flippa Mafia, as well as, 9 others including his two brothers and his girlfriend were arrested back in 2013 during a massive drug bust in California and New Jersey. His brothers Kemar and Roger Davis were also convicted and sentenced to 20 and 10 years in prison respectively for their role in the drug organization that authorities say span California, New Jersey and Jamaica. His girlfriend, Marsha Bernard, was given 21 years for her role.

Flippa Mafia was arrested in September 2013 in California along with his brother Kemar Davis. Cops found 57 pounds of cocaine on the premises along with $500,000 cash and two handguns. The drug had an estimated value of $1 million.

Davis is now 37 years old and will be in his 60s when he gets out of prison.
