Rihanna Scored Second-Most Weeks At Top Billboard Hot 100, Ties With The Beatles

Rihanna stay winning. The Bajan pop star just scored the second-most total weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts thanks to her single “Work” featuring Drake.

“Work” has been at the top of the chart for 8 weeks now and is showing no signs of slowing down. This gave Rihanna a total of 59 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 equaling The Beatles and second to only Mariah Carey with 79. Something tells us that Rihanna will one day be No. 1.

Rihanna is also the artist with the third most No. 1 singles behind only Mariah Carey and The Beatles. “Work” featuring Drake is her 14th No. 1 song on the chart. Mariah currently has 18 and The Beatles has 20.

Rihanna’s “Work” is also at the top of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for 10 weeks now, though not consecutive.

Last year the Roc Nation singer was the most streamed artist on Spotify despite not releasing an album in close to four years.

Desiigner’s single “Panda” is also seeing some success on the chart jumping 14 to No. 5 this week. Justin Bieber is also holding firm in the top 10 with “Love Yourself.”
