Khago Bleaches His Skin Following Vybz Kartel Footstep

Dancehall artist Khago is following Vybz Kartel and Alkaline footstep by bleaching his skin to get more attention to his career.

While using skin bleaching as a career boast may have worked for Vybz Kartel and Alkaline, let’s see if the same will happen for the “Nah Sell Out” deejay.

Social media has been buzzing all weekend about Khago’s new image with some dancehall fans chastising him for making the bold move while others condemn him as just another sellout.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard a hit song from Khago. The big question is will he find one this year with his new image?

Image shock value has become the big thing among dancehall artists over the last few years with artists going above the norm to bring more attention to their career.

  1. This article is misleading. Did kartel invented skin bleaching? Was he the first man to bleach in jamaica?

  2. This man is a lost soul.

  3. Brown skin people a bleach? This is satanic.

  4. Rasta man selling out. ?

    • why would you label him a rasta because he doesn’t cut his hair?

      • No, because he has (real)locs. He got tired of going against the grain, decided to conform, and capitalized on the free press in the process. He didn’t even need to get eye tattoo surgery(?),attempt suicide, have horns surgically implanted(?), get some ridiculous face tattoo, etc. He knew what he was doing–looking hype.
