Popcaan was found guilty of assaulting a police officer but walked away with just a slap on the risk.
The dancehall hitmaker found himself in some legal troubles back in 2013 when he got into a fight with police officers at the Norman Manley International in Kingston. The deejay was about to board a flight when cops requested to search his luggage, he refused and an argument developed.

Things got so heated that the ended up in a scuffle where Popcaan used a bottle of Hennessy to hit one cop in the face. He was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
Popcaan, whose real name is Andre Sutherland, had his final court hearing last week where a judge found him guilty and fined him JM$25,000 or face six months in jail.
The “Unruly Rave” deejay paid the fine and went on his way.
