Kanye West Doubles TIDAL Subscription With ‘The Life Of Pablo’

Everyone is starting to take Kanye West serious when he says that he is a musical genius.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper pulls big numbers with him everytime that he drops an album. His latest album “The Life of Pablo” triggers a flood of new subscribers for the ailing music streaming service TIDAL for which he is part owner of.

This means that Kanye West business partners including Jay Z, Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and more are all smiling to the bank.

TMZ reported that TIDAL has a little over 1 million subscribers prior to Kanye dropping “The Life of Pablo.” Now that number has suddenly shot up to 2.5 million and growing, thanks to a flood of people trying to get a copy of Ye’s album. Some of that numbers can also be attributed to Rihanna who gave away a million copies of her album to TIDAL subscribers.

Just before releasing the album, Kanye West told his fans on Twitter that he will not put his album on Apple Music and urged them to subscribe to TIDAL to get a copy.

“My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal,” Ye tweeted.
