Tanya Stephens Diss Lady Saw Calls Her Mentally Ill

Lady Saw has been getting a lot of praise from some of her peers in dancehall but not from Tanya Stephens.

The female dancehall icon took to Facebook to throw a few shades at the former dancehall queen who is now a devote Christian following her baptism last week Monday.

Tanya Stephens stopped short of calling Lady Saw mentally ill and says that she want an apology for something that went down in the past.

“I’m listening out for a clear and detailed apology first to Lady G and then to myself,” she wrote on her wall. “Maybe then I’ll think it’s a little less laughable. A no di one weh sh*t a pass memba, a di one weh tep in deh! Jamaica, for the new year you simply must stop misdiagnosing mental illness and bad behaviour of spoil brats.”

That statement drew some harsh criticisms from Lady Saw fans who flooded her wall with angry comments.

“I respect your music, but you’re childish,” one fan wrote.

“If she have to apologize to everybody that she wrong, what time will she have to go church?” another fan asked.

Lady Saw has been getting a lot of support since her transformation including from dancehall legend Ninjaman, who praised her move calling it the greatest in dancehall history.

  1. When your conscience calls you cannot ignore it for too long. The problem with running to religion is its the same old bs. Its time for a new interface for human consciousness. One that puts Life first above humanist beliefs such as religion, atheism, and science. 320ro.com

  2. Nobody is perfect and Lady Saw is doing the right thing at least she made the first step what is Tanya Stephens been doing with her life. Like her old music but she is just wrong for this.
