Martin Shkreli Plans To Bail Bobby Shmurda Out Of Jail

Martin Shkreli is a huge fan of hip hop, because just a week after reports surfaced that he dropped $2 million on a Wu-Tang Clan album, he is planning to shell out another $2 million on Bobby Shmurda freedom.

HiphopDX reported that the pharmaceutical executive wants to bail out Shmurda because he sees them as two kids from Brooklyn and also a chance for him to make a ton of cash.

Bobby Shmurda Denied Bail For Fifth Straight Time

“We’re actually in discussion to try to bail out Bobby Shmurda,” said Shkreli. “Forget whether you think he’s guilty or not, the guy should not be sitting in jail right now. It’s insane. He’s from Brooklyn. I’m from Brooklyn. He deserves a fair trial. He deserves good lawyers. He doesn’t have good lawyers. His label is hanging him out to dry and so I have a conference call tomorrow morning with them (December 15). I’ll show up with $2 million bail money no f***ing problem. He’s not going to flee the country. I’m not going to lose anything. I’m going to try to make that happen. That’s one thing I’m working on.”

The CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals came under a lot of fire earlier this year when his company raised the price of vital AIDS medication, Daraprim from $13.50 per pill to $750. The move sparked a lot of outcry worldwide.

Even RZA came under fire for doing business with Shkreli, but said that their deal was long before he raised the prices for AIDS meds.
