August Alsina Sophomore Album ‘This Thing Called Life’ (Listen)

August Alsina released his new album This Thing Called Life on Friday, December 12, 2015.

The project is the followup to his debut album Testimony, released in 2014. The album saw guest appearances from Lil Wayne (Why I Do It), Chris Brown (Been Around the World), Jadakiss, and Anthony Hamilton. R. City, Boi-1da, Soundz, Knucklehead, and more got production credits.

Earlier this week August Alsina took to Twitter to blast his label Dej Jam for prematurely leaking the album. He later took to his Instagram page to explain his frustration with the label.

“My ‘F*** You’ tweet came from a place of frustration of course but also from a place of love,” Alsina wrote. ”

The New Orleans singer also expressed his disappointment with the label handling of the album.

The album is available for streaming on Spotify and also available on iTunes for $9.99.
